In this episode…

Art is a culmination of the soul on a canvas. Because of this, many artists are eager to turn their love for art into a full-time career. But what if the foundation of creating art—drawing—is not where your strength lies?

According to Marco Bucci, who learned to draw later in life and still struggles with his draftsmanship, there are many routes to becoming a successful artist. He believes that the most important part is chipping away at your craft every day—no matter what form that takes.

In today’s episode of the Pencil Kings podcast, Marco Bucci, an acclaimed painter and illustrator, sits down with Mitch Bowler to talk about what it means to be a full-time artist. Marco discusses how to create a productive work/life balance and the importance of solving the big problems one step at a time. He also explains that while drawing is essential for learning art, it does not have to define your road to success. Stay tuned.
